Getting out in the open air

WITH any luck, by the time we get into June the al fresco dining area at the Kettering Park Hotel and Spa will be attracting the level of business it deserves.

WITH any luck, by the time we get into June the al fresco dining area at the Kettering Park Hotel and Spa will be attracting the level of business it deserves.

Situated at the rear of the restaurant, next to the newly refurbished spa and overlooking the hotel’s well-maintained gardens, the terrace is the ideal spot for lunch on a sunny day, enjoying a balmy evening meal or just for a drink with friends before dinner.

When the weather isn’t playing ball, The Restaurant and Bar offers a pleasant alternative, with a lively buzz and a tempting menu filled with exciting dishes made from some of the finest produce in the East Midlands.

Focal point of the menu is the Chef’s Table, bursting with regional delights such as Melton Mowbray pork pie, locally produced smoked chicken, speciality sausage and pate, as well as items from the ever-popular Pickled Village range and oils from Farringtons.

The Chef’s Table option is available as a starter or a main course and those choosing it have free rein over what they choose from the selection on offer.

Changing regularly to reflect the seasons and the best produce available are the main menus, which offer a range of nibbles for those who just want a quick snack, or something to keep them going while they peruse the menu, as well as a selection of appetisers and salads, main courses featuring meat, fish and vegetarian options and then a selection of desserts.

There’s also a lounge menu for less formal dining and the ever-popular Sunday lunch menu.

So whether it’s a snack with a post-work drink, a working lunch in the lounge, a special dinner or a family get-together, there’s something to suit all tastes at the Kettering Park Hotel and Spa.
