ALWAYS popular with delegates, Kettering Park Hotel and Spa’s Conference Cafe has been enhanced and improved to ensure everyone stays refreshed and well catered for throughout the day.
The idea behind Conference Cafe is that groups have refreshments and snacks available all day, rather than having to take a break at a set time, when it may not suit the progress of the meeting.
By having hot and cold drinks, and the likes of fruit, cakes and cookies and confectionary available at all times, the hotel ensures that guests can break at times to suit them, different delegates can take breaks at different times, and there’s always a ready supply of treats when energy levels drop.
From February, the Conference Cafe is extending its range, tailored to specific times of day, from breakfast gatherings to coffee to take away at the end of the afternoon. Speciality Tchibo coffee with syrups and toppings, along with Taylors of Harrogate tea will be available all day.
General Manager of Kettering Park Hotel, Andrew Hollett, said: “Meeting organisers don’t want to be tied to specific times and so we can be as flexible as they need us to be. During the morning there will be a selection of cereals and pastries as well as smoothies and milkshakes, and a hot or cold lunch can be served at a time to suit the organiser in the middle of the day, but other than that, there’s always something available.
“Energy levels flag when you’re working hard and so that’s the time to grab a biscuit or chocolate bar, or maybe a doughnut or something from the ‘tuck shop’.”
The fruit basket will be available all day, as will the Brain Foods – nuts and dried fruits, chocolate raisins and yoghurt cranberries. Biscuits and chocolate bars accompany morning tea and coffee, while the afternoon treats include the likes of bruschetta, mini quiches and crudites, as well as brownies, jam tarts and cake.
Andrew Hollett added: “Conference Cafe has long been popular because it makes our business guests feel relaxed and well catered for, providing them with everything they need to get on with their day without hassle and interruption. We hope the new-look Conference Cafe will add to that experience even further.”
