Tasty treats just around the corner

IF you’ve done dry January, or you’ve been trying to shed those extra pounds Christmas somehow always seems to leave behind, maybe it’s time for a treat.

And the perfect solution could be just around the corner in the form of a new spring menu from the team at Kettering Park Hotel and Spa.

It’s not too early to start looking ahead to the end of dark evenings and frosty mornings, and the hotel’s new menu reflects this, with a move away from hearty, warming meals to something lighter and fresher.

Andrew Hollett, General Manager, said: “Our team of chef’s have designed the new spring menu and I’m very excited about some of the dishes they have created.

“We’re still putting the final touches the full menu, but I already know that one of my favourites is on there, a classic potted shrimps with char grilled lemon and toasted sour dough starter that is simply delicious. I’m hopeful that people will want to come along and see what’s different and enjoy a first-class meal.”

The restaurant is, of course, open to both guests and the general public, and a meal in the evening, after a hard day’s work is one of the attractions to those using the hotel for business stays – for those staying in the area, and local companies who find it is an ideal base for those visiting them from outside the area.

With 22 meeting rooms, from small break-out areas to the Rockingham Suite, which seats 100 and the Rutland Suite, which holds 180 people, it’s easy to see why Kettering Park Hotel & Spa is one of the leading business venues in the area.

Situated just off Junction 9 of the A14 and close to Kettering Venture Park business area, and a short drive from Kettering town centre, the hotel offers ample parking, free wifi and excellent delegate rates for meetings and presentations.
