Marking ten years

LAST month Drake Commercial hosted a drinks reception to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the business.

The event, which was attended by both clients and fellow property professionals, took place at The Dining Room Restaurant in Northampton which forms part of the Charles Rennie Macintosh museum at 78 Derngate, Northampton.

Drake Commercial are one of the region’s most established commercial property consultants and are market specialists in the industrial, office and business space markets across Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, the East Midlands and northern Home Counties.

“Over the past 12 months we have been involved in projects in London, Manchester, Cambridge, Glasgow and Bristol on behalf of institutional, corporate and private clients,” said Partner Nicholas Roberts.

“However, while we are acting for clients across the country, our core area of business will always be the East Midlands based out of our offices in Northampton and Milton Keynes.”

Three of the partners, Tony Drake, Nicholas Roberts and David Smith previously worked together in the first iteration of Drake Commercial prior to a brief merger with Bidwells. The reformed Drake Commercial has grown rapidly and includes two further partners, Tom Drake and Joe Smith.

David Smith said: “We have active plans in place to grow the business in terms of the area of coverage that we operate in and in terms of the number of fee earning staff. We are also looking to increase the range of services that we offer our existing client base.”
