BRACKMILLS-based logistics service provider Dachser was once again a main exhibitor at the annual Multimodal exhibition, which took place this year at the NEC at the beginning of May.
Multimodal claims to be the UK and Ireland’s premier freight transport, logistics and supply chain management event, representing every logistics sector under one roof, and Dachser has been a regular fixture there for the past 10 years.
“Every year, Multimodal provides a unique opportunity for us to showcase our services, and communicate the latest developments in our business development, performance and strategic direction,” said Nick Lowe, Dachser Ltd’s UK Managing Director. “It also creates a great platform to meet with current and potential customers, and for general networking in a very busy and positive environment.”
According to Multimodal’s official figures, a total of 9,281 people visited the 2018 exhibition.
“We go for a simple but open and striking stand design, to project our corporate image in the right way and also to make ourselves as accessible and welcoming to our visitors as possible,” added Mick Adams, Dachser UK’s southern regional sales manager who has the added responsibility of Mutimodal project manager on an annual basis.
“Since the first time we exhibited at Multimodal back in 2009, it’s noticeable how the footfall has grown and how this has helped us to reach out in a very efficient way to potential new customers. This year in particular we received an enormous number of high-quality new business enquiries for many different aspects of our services, including European road freight, contract logistics and international freight forwarding.”
